Literary Club

The club aims to develop analytical and creative thinking skills of students and makes homogeneous contribution to their personality by organizing activities which enhances their public speaking skills, writing capabilities, sense of creativity, intellect, logic and independent thinking and the business and integrated marketing communication skills.


1. Nurture and flourish the creative thinking skills of students.
2. To inculcate and motivate a practice of logical analytical thinking among students.
3. To develop the oratory skills of students.
4. To develop the communication skills of students.
5. Editing and reviewing write-ups (web reports and dossiers).

Events (JAN-DEC 2020)

“Literary Club, RDIAS, organized Spell Bee for the students of BBA and MBA on January 29, 2020. The objective of the event was to improve the vocabulary and spellings of the students. The event saw tremendous participation and the students were appreciative of the event as they got to learn about new

Events (JAN-DEC 2019)

Literary Club organized the event of “Essay writing competition” –on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhiji in Contemporary times on October 11, 2019 wherein students were asked to research on the topic beforehand. Literary Club organized the event of “Kavi Sammelan” – a poetry recitation competition on September 13, 2019 wherein students presented their original poetry, in both Hindi and English and showcased their talent.

Literary club organized JAM Session (Extempore) on August 30, 2019 wherein students were asked to speak on different topics without preparation or forethought. The topics ranged from general (Is Netflix killing cinema? or Cycling is the best form of exercise) to abstract (Red or Brain is pink ). Students actively participated in the event with great zeal and enthusiasm and came up with interesting interpretations of the topics given to them.
