OBJECTIVES
- To have a functional MUN society to groom students to participate and host MUN events.
- To develop communication skills and build confidence of the students to speak and represent on public forums and develop personality.
- To build upon the knowledge repertoire of the students by discussing on versatile topics.

Events (JAN-DEC 2020)
Connecting Politically / Socially active youth of India on one platform for the common purpose of strengthening democracy and to inculcate a national vision
Management Fest organized by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce
Management Conclave organized by SRCC, Delhi University and IMT Ghaziabad to fit into the roles of a deft marketer, a shrewd financial analyst, a charismatic HR official, or an insightful operations head.
The objective of the event is to give students a glimpse of the actual panel debates which takes place on News Channels. This competition was done in two rounds i.e. preliminary round and final round. The topic of the debate was CAA
Open debate Forum to give students an opportunity to speak in front of small number of audience on social topics. Topic of the Debate was Do school uniforms help to improve the learning environment? and Should a person’s social media be judged for college admissions and job recruiting?
Events (JAN-DEC 2019)
A two day Inter-College MUN Conference was organized inviting students from other colleges and Universities to participate as delegates from different Countries. Three Committes were formed, namely Lok Sabha, UNGA & UNSC. Agenda: Sustainable Development Goals
On the Topic: The sustainability debate: Idealism versus conformism the controversy over economic growth & Is Gandhi a Hero or Villain.
A management Quiz competition with three rounds to check the knowledge of the students on different areas of management like, Principles of Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations etc.
On the topic: Should violent Video games be banned? and Should juveniles be tried and treated as adults?”
Open debate Forum to give students an opportunity to speak in front of small number of audience on social topics. The first session was on the topic Indian Prime Minister in Man VS Wild and Food Communalism
Youth Parliament was organized to improve and enhance the debating skills of the students. Agenda of the Youth Parliament was, “Abolition of Article 370 and 35A”.

Confero – The MUN Society of S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, North Campus, University of Delhi presented us to the 5th edition of Confero Model United Nations
It was 2 days deliberation with motive of finding a way or a solution to this national debatable topic and inculcate the skills of effective research , analysis and debating with the help of this academic simulation. The agenda for the MUN Conference was ‘ONE NATION ONE ELECTION’.
Proceedings of an MUN was a workshop and debate for students. The motive of the workshop was Effective delivery of speeches and to understand the basics of Model United Nations (MUN). The topic for the debate was Developmental Agendas for Nation. Ms.Shivangani Anand who has more than 45 MUNs started with a basic introduction of
MUN in very simple words.
Jaypee institiute of information technology Noida sector – 128, conducted Model United Nationin which three committee’s were undertaken that AIIPM , UNGA and UNHRC the main Moto of all India political party meet was “Building a road map for 2019 election”
