The club make students abreast of the current scenario and the happenings around the world in the marketing space and provide and teach them art and techniques related to marketing which would help them to be industry-ready.

OBJECTIVES

To provide opportunity and platform to students to understand the current skill requirement in contemporary marketing scenario and make them industry ready

Events (JAN-DEC 2020)

VIPANAN – The Marketing Club VIPANAN organized One day Workshop on Marketing Research for the students of MBA and BBA. Dr. Sunil Kumar, Assistant professor RDIAS was the resource person. Around 30 participants attended the workshop. The aim of workshop was to strengthen the quality of marketing research and data analysis capacity of the students which indeed will be helpful in projects and future prospects.

“VIPANAN- Marketing Club, RDIAS, organized an Intra -College Ad Analysis Competition Hum Mein Hai Hero for the students of BBA and MBA. There were total 11 teams who enthusiastically participated in the competition. Each team had minimum 3 and maximum 5 participants. The participants were supposed to analyse the various phases of Advertisement (Year wise) of the given company. The companies covered in the competition were Amul, Coca- Cola Lux, Cadbury etc. The competition provided students a platform to show their learning and understanding on advertisement as
a specific area. “

Events (JAN-DEC 2019)

VIPANAN- Marketing Club, RDIAS, organized Vigyapan- an Inter-College Ad Making Competition for all graduate and post graduate students across India. In total 15 teams participated in the competition. There were total 51 students who have participated in the event. Each team had minimum 2 and maximum 4 participants. The students presented creative and innovative advertisements on companies like Zeodra Fashion, Scissor unisex salon, Mahi Traders, Virzin Wolf Cafe, The Cake Cafe, Demould Bakery, The chocolate Villa , Makeup artist-Divya makeovers, Secret Behind Cake, D.R. Creations, Your’s Pizza and New Komal Art. The winners of the competion were team MOJOJO from RDIAS who won First Prize, The Team Hukana Matata from RDIAS who won Second prize and The Team DTU Valey from DTU who won Third prize .

First prize – The team MOJOJO from RDIAS who presented their advertisement on Mahi Traders. Cash Prize won was Rs 1000/-
Second prize – The Team Hukana Matata from RDIAS who presented their advertisement on Scissor Unisex Saloon. Cash Prize won was Rs 700/-
Third prize – The Team DTU Valey from DTU who presented their advertisement on The Chocolate Villa. Cash Prize won was Rs 500/-

VIPANAN-The Marketing Club organized Mock Interviews for the students of MBA in order to enhance interview skills of the students.The mock interviews were scheduled with all the students who had opted for Marketing as Major and Minor in their MBA third semester. In total, 210 students with marketing as major and minor specialization registered for the interviews, out of which total 187 were present. The interview was conducted by 10 Marketing specialization faculty members in the span of 4 days.

VIPANAN Marketing Club organised Yoddha- Marketing Plan Competition for both BBA and MBA students. 17 teams participated in the competition. Each team had 2 minimum
and 4 maximum participants.This competition helped students learn the concepts of marketing and apply 4Ps of marketing on their products and services. Participation from all semesters of BBA and MBA made it more healthy and full of high spirits.The winners of the competion were Team Brainiacs from MBA III who won First prize, Team Hakuna matata from MBA III who won second prize and Team Lakers from MBA III who won third prize.

On the orientation day for the session starting 2019, Greenvertising event was organized in partnership by HR Club, Marketing Club & Social & Heritage Club. The motive of the event was to make students aware about Green Advertising initiatives of organizations to integrate advertising goals with sustainable development. The focus of the activity was to promote your product around the premises of environment or environmental situations. The winner of the acttivity was team-Satykyash: Prajal Pathak, Arjun Khatri, Devansh Sharma, Chaintanya Sharma, Akansha Bansal.
VIPANAN-The Marketing club of RDIAS organized an open discussion on the Role of Digital Marketing Channels in Electoral Campaign, 2019 in India for the students of BBA and MBA on April 16, 2019. This activity was organized with an aim to enhance students knowledge of the digital marketing and its importance in the ongoing election season. A total of 17 students participated and put forward their viewpoints which in turn resulted in a fruitful and healthy discussion among them. Discussion ended on a very positive note.

VIPANAN-The Marketing club of RDIAS has organized a discussion on Marketing Ethics for the students of BBA and MBA on March 29, 2019. This activity was aimed to enhance students knowledge about the ethical issues in marketing strategies of the company. Participation in this activity was open for BBA and MBA students. Total 19 participants enthusiastically participated in the event.

VIPANAN-The Marketing Club club of RDIAS organised IDEA 2 REALITY Competition for both BBA and MBA students. Total 8 teams participated in the competition. Each team had 2 minimum and 5 maximum participants. The participating teams were to show a prototype of any new product developed by them with the help of a power point presentation.The winners of the competion were Sahil Manocha and Team from BBA who won First prize, Kanika Oberoi and Team from MBA won second prize and Sahil Garg and Team from MBA won third prize.
