If you want to work in business, especially in management roles, an MBA is the best choice. The university/institution where the candidates earned their bachelor’s degree will determine the equivalency if the applicants are awarded qualifications/CGPA instead of credits.There is no age limit for getting an MBA or taking the CAT exam. Students in their senior year of college who do not possess any exceptional qualities are eligible to apply.If the result of an applicant is less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWT), he or she will not be eligible to apply for the position.

Admission Process
– Applicants wishing to be considered for top MBA programmes should take the appropriate MBA entrance exam, such as the CAT/XAT/IIFT/NMAT/SNAP, during the application period.
– Those interested in pursuing a PGDM/MBA degree in management education at a top MBA school must take the CAT, XAT, NMAT or comparable admission test.
– Most B-schools will pre-screen eligible candidates for the final admission process after the announcement of MBA exam results in January, based on test results, qualifications, variety, work experience and other considerations established by specific B admission standards and weights. Each school is solely responsible for completing the procedure on its own.
– A Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview will be needed of all shortlisted candidates (PI). Prior to the PI round, several business schools, such as,would hold group talks. Individual MBA colleges will announce the final shortlisted list based on all of the criteria.
