The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) holds the common entrance exam for a number of different programmes annually. The exam is to identify the candidates suitable for being admitted to the desired programmes. It will give students a single window of opportunity to apply to any of the participating universities or institutes in the nation. The test is divided into several sections. The test’s various sections determine how points are awarded. An applicant’s rank is determined by the exam marks they obtain.
To be admitted to one of Delhi NCR’s Top Ranking GGSIPU Colleges, the applicant must address the following areas:
1. University’s Application Form:
Applicants are advised to properly fill out the application form by adhering to the instructions outlined. The steps below are provided to guide candidates in presenting their applications:
• Go to the University’s official website and select the Advertisement tab. • A page for the online form will open.
• Select the “Register” button on the page and enter all the information.
• Along with the registration number and password, the candidate will receive the credentials as required further.
• Complete the application form with the requested information.
• If applicable, pay the application fee.
• Print the application for future use, and upload your photo, signature, and any necessary documents.
The candidates are required to fill out the application online and pay the application fees according to categories like General, OBC, SC, and ST. The University will not accept any application form without prescribed application fees.
2) Qualification for the GGSIPU Entrance Exam:
Candidates need to check the University’s official website for eligibility requirements. To apply for the GGSIPU Entrance exam, a candidate must have completed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board. On the University’s official website, candidates must review the crucial dates.
The important dates are related to the beginning of the application process, the last date to fill out the application form, university application correction, the issuing of admit cards, the date of the mock test, the date of the exam, and the results.
3) GGSIPU Common Entrance Test Counselling Process:
The process through which GGSIP University will assign seats for the various participating colleges of the IPU common entrance exam is called counselling. Candidates for counseling will be chosen based on their performance on the IPU exam. The candidates are allotted seats in the counselling process based on merit, and they are also asked to go through the process of admissions by paying the fee.
4) GGSIPU Common Entrance Test Results:
The University will publish the results in the stipulated mode. The result card of IPU will bear the candidate’s name, rank obtained by the candidate, and other information. Candidates only have to use their login credentials to download the results of the IPU common entrance exam.
5) CET Preparation Tips:
Students should plan their study time before beginning to prepare for their exams. Following the course, the candidate must divide the time equally among all the sections. The candidate must compile all relevant data and research the course materials. The applicant must dedicate at least five to six hours a day to their studies. The candidate must practice exclusively from books that virtually cover the entire syllabus and work through the previous year’s exam questions.
To manage their time, prospective candidates should take practice exams every day. Getting familiar with the exam pattern and achieving high exam scores are facilitated by practising the mock test.
It is recommended that candidates avoid physical and mental strain and maintain an optimistic outlook regarding their preparations. The aspirant must maintain a timely, balanced, and hygienic diet regimen. The candidate must have seven or eight hours of sleep daily. The candidate must exercise, play sports, and do yoga and meditation to keep their mind healthy and calm in accordance with their goals.
Students are required to write down all pertinent information in one location during the preparation phase. Students will benefit from assistance going through these notes during revision time in this way. Students will be able to better prepare for the exam by making notes for the entrance exam.
