Faculty Development Programme on "Research Methodology and Tools for Management & IT”
Teaching fraternity is the back-bone of a higher education system and it becomes imperative for a teacher to upgrade his/her knowledge and competencies on continuous basis through research & development and connect it with the problems of industry and society as a whole.
Keeping this in view, Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Rohini, Delhi, is going to organize a three days faculty development program in management and information technology to enhance the skills set of the teaching fraternity.
The aim of the FDP is to introduce young teachers and researchers to the world of research and also to introduce new research techniques to experienced faculty members. In this day and age, the art of drawing coherent conclusions, supported by appropriate research tools is vital for quality research work. In the field of Information Technology, Geographical Information System (GIS) professionals have contributed immensely and there is a huge requirement for experienced researchers. Massive research projects have been undertaken by IT giants in GIS and opportunities lie galore in the market.
