RDIAS Clubs, Committees and Societies

The aim to establish various Clubs, Committees and Societies is to contribute to the effective functioning of the Institution so that a qualitative and consistent ethical review mechanism for institutional works is put in place.

Social and Heritage Club

1. To conduct extension activities for students by involving them into various social movements promoting their citizenship role.
2. To make students & staff members sensitive towards education, health and environment for the under privileged

Literary Club

1. To develop analytical and creative thinking skills of students and make homogeneous contribution to their personality by organizing activities.
a. To enhance the public speaking/speech skills of the students.
b. To enhance writing capabilities of the students.
c. To enhance sense of creativity, intellect, logic and independent thinking.
d. To enhance the business and integrated marketing communication skills of students.

2. Editing and reviewing write-ups (web reports and dossiers) corresponding to significant activities/ events held during the academic year (one dossier and web report per event).
3. Prepare other write-ups and press release.

Women Cell

1. To conduct health care sessions to bring health consciousness among female members for their quality all round performance.

2. To conduct creative competitions, critical thinking activities and role play competitions in order to achieve learning among female students.

3. To organise Entrepreneurship talk/Business plan competitions to transform female students into future managers and entrepreneur.

4. To organise workshop, training session for the social upliftment of women and hence society.

Dramatics Society

1 To enhance the personality and communication skills of the students.

2. To provide platform to students to interact with the outside world and help them to become adaptable and develop their own value system.

3. To generate awareness and educate the stakeholders regarding different social, economic and political issues.
 

Finance Club

1. To provide a comprehensive understanding of the finance industry.

2. To provide learning opportunities to understand financial jargons / terms.

3. To foster an environment of discovery of recent trends and developments in the field of finance.

 

Marketing Club

1. To make students abreast of the current scenario and the happenings around the world in the marketing space.

2. To provide and teach them art and techniques related to marketing which would help them to be industry-ready.

3. To make students understand the importance of teamwork and make them realize their leadership qualities.

Human Resources Club

1. The purpose of “HR Club” is to bring the students together on a common platform where they can enhance their HR Skills through participation and involvement in various HR related activities.

2. To help students to develop interpersonal skills required in the corporate world. Encourage them to meet professionals who work in the field of Human Resources Management. .

3. This club is designed to help students learn more about Human Resource and what Human Resource Professionals do.

4. The HR students take the lead in arranging the events. which enable them plan and arrange for the events successfully. The club activities are organized in a regular basis to promote the team spirit and implement the HR concepts practically.

Student Hobby Club

1. To encourage holistic development of the students/staff by coordinating a variety of recreational, social, cultural and entertainment programs and services.

2. To provide them a platform where they can nurture their talent by indulging themselves in the activities of their interest and effectively utilize their non-teaching time.

 

 

 

 

Photography Club

1. To promote creativity through photography, to share and critique the photographs of peers, to educate and improve technical skills, and to spread the love of photography throughout the Carnegie community.

2. A photograph is an image that is recorded that the human eye can perceive. Main Purpose of a photographs is to capture life moments. Moments of happiness, fun, friendship, etc. We would like those moments to last, to remember them and to share them with others.
 

 

 

 

Dance Club

1. To Provide a platform to the students whose feet likes dancing to the tune of Music.

2. To encourage students to get the insight of dancing skills

3. To prepare the students to get recognition through in house performances and External Participation.

 
 

 

 

Sur Sargam Musical Club

1. To provide a platform to all the vocalists to get recognition in the field of Music.

1. To maintain and update database of Alumni along with providing avenues for active participation.
2. To provide a platform to our esteemed Alumni to showcase their achievements and experience and providing them information regarding job opportunities.
3. To promote a sustained sense of belonging to the Alma Mater.
4. To provide a platform for the Alumni for exchange of ideas and knowledge with the current batch students.
5. To encourage, foster and promote mutual relations among the alumni themselves and to provide a platform for showcasing their extra-curricular interests.
6. To bridge the gap between corporate world and college.
7. To honor outstanding alumni of RDIAS and their respective contributions to the club, as well as to the college.
