The word "tantra" is derived from the combination of two words "tattva" and "mantra". "Tattva" means the science of cosmic principles, while "mantra" refers to the science of mystic sound and vibrations. Tantra therefore is the application of cosmic sciences with a view to attain spiritual ascendancy. “Naya” means new.
The aim of this event was to foster and encourage the students to showcase their talent and uplift their spirits by taking part in various events and imbibing in them a sense of belongingness to the competitive world that lies ahead, which we shall be a part of in the years to come.
It is the tradition of RDIAS to conduct an Annual Cultural Festival for the students. It is an event which the students look forward to with great enthusiasm and zeal. The best part of the event is that the whole event was organized & managed by the RDIAS students only. They get great exposure and enhance their confidence by organizing such events.
The aim of this event is to provide an environment that facilitates programs and activities of interest to the students. It promotes opportunities for interaction among students from different colleges. Such events in the campus create an environment which provides equal opportunities to all to showcase their talent. Techno-cultural fest was to instill in the students a blend of sharp mind, technology & culture. In present day environment, extra curricular and academic activities are equally important.
'All work and no play make Jack a dull boy'. Rightly said so, that education without activities are always incomplete. The excellence is achieved only by all-round development. Sports also inculcate good qualities in us. Involving oneself in competitive sports will encourage healthy competition. Taking up captainship in team games will inculcate leadership qualities. Playing as a team will encourage co-operation among the players.
The aim of Alumni Meet was to deliberate on two key areas that act as pillars of a dynamic and evolving institute, and which can be strengthened by the direct and active involvement of its alumni. These areas are industry institute interaction and social networking. The Meet also helped in bringing a lot of students together at one place and provides opportunities to renew and make new contacts. It is rightly said that “Friends are for ever”. It was one of those rare days when bonhomie prevailed just about everywhere.
